This week’s Grand Cities hot spot is Nelson’s Pumpkin Patch! I love this family friendly patch so much because all the awesome activities. My favorite as a child was the corn maze. Now as an adult, I enjoy the hayride through the spooky woods. Don’t get me wrong, they have a ton more activities than corn maze and hayrides. There are plenty of games for kiddos – conk the crow, stuff the scarecrow, and pitch the pumpkin. There’s a sensory bin filled with soybeans and plenty of toys. They also have some farm animals to pet and feed. I’m excited to see their miniature cow named Shorty.
During my childhood my Church group would have a fall party every year at Nelson’s Pumpkin Patch. It was so much fun. I enjoy this place so much that we host our annual client appreciation party there. If you are ever looking to host an event, this is a great place! The owners and operators, Todd, Carrie and their children, Tarah, Aaron and Corey sure know how to make memories to last a lifetime.
